The most popular messaging app, Whatsapp now has launched Picture-In-Picture (PIP) mode for Android users.

In the month of October, this picture-in-picture (PIP) mode was introduced to Whatsapp beta users. The convenience of this feature is that the user can view videos in the floating window without pop-ups inside the WhatsApp or without opening any third party application.

Therefore, you can continue your chat while watching a video.

Now, after a few months of successful testing on the beta platform, this feature will be available to all Android users. This new feature of WhatsApp is now available via an update version 2.18.380 on Google play store.

This is not the social media platform for the first time using PIP mode. Popular apps like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and some other apps are already providing this important feature to their users.

WhatsApp is working on lots of advantageous features like dark mode, multi-share, continuous voice messages playback, group voice, and video calling etc.

This PIP mode feature seems like a quite productive feature for users who used to prefers multitasking on the Internet. This new PIP mode on WhatsApp currently supports video from YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram only.
